About us
The firm was set up by Steven Carey in 1999, in order to focus more closely on tax and strategic planning. Initial success in tax planning assignments led to an increasing number of clients retaining the firm to look after their accounts. The growth led to a move to our current offices in October 2002.
The firm continued to expand and incorporated as a limited company on 1st September 2006. This will facilitate the next stage of our growth, and allow all team members to share in the future profits of the business.
We now have three departments, each headed by a manager, although every member of our team is expected to have a working knowledge of each client, so we can answer queries quickly and effectively.
Tax and strategic planning
Steven Carey heads up this aspect of our work. Using his training with KPMG (London & Plymouth) and his tax qualification, Steve brings a commercial, business minded approach to this complex area of business.
If you want to retire, or at least be able to choose whether to work or not, we can bring ideas and strategies that will be of practical help.
And, if you want to keep more of the proceeds if you decide to sell your business, remember, "we work harder to keep your taxes lower"
Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Income Tax and Corporate Taxes on income. These are becoming increasingly complicated, and getting it wrong can be expensive. Time invested now can produce rewards many, many times larger in the future.
